Majli af Ekenstam is a designer and textile artist based in Gothenburg, Sweden. She runs an artistic studio that creates materials, visual concepts and art with a focus on colour and materiality.
"My creative process is all about experimentation. It’s a combination of materials, tools, prototyping, sketching, and trying to bring together things that haven’t been connected before. It is about the materials and the experience of materiality in combination with technology."
She is educated at the Swedish School of Textiles with a BA in fashion design (2014) and an MA in Textile design (2021), specializing in digitalization of craft.
